The Ristoro of Villa Pianigiani
The "Ristoro di Castello di Ama" was started in 2014 from the desire to open and therefore pay homage to the eighteenth-century Villa Pianigiani, which has always been the soul of the village of Ama. Initially we thought of a refreshment point for the numerous passing guests, but it was the deep connection that this place was able to create with each visitor that prompted us to modify the proposal, while keeping the premises unchanged: to enjoy the conviviality of the magical union between the Great Wines and the place they produced.
The proposals of the Ristoro, therefore, involve every aspect of the Castello di Ama experience:
• the guided tour of the company spaces, lasting about 1 hour,
• a daily prepared menu with the care and love of home cooking,
• and a tasting itinerary of a selection of the Great Wines of Castello di Ama.

We are delighted to announce that Villa Pianigiani, after an extensive and meticulous restoration, is ready to welcome you back in all its renewed splendor. This historic 18th-century villa, nestled in the heart of Chianti, has been lovingly restored to offer our guests a unique and refined setting.
The villa’s Ristoro and Enoteca have been designed to blend tradition and modernity, creating a gastronomic experience that celebrates the authentic flavors of Tuscany, perfectly paired with our finest wines. We invite you to embark on a journey through history, taste, and hospitality.
This experience is designed to combine the magic of a walk in the village of Ama and the charm of a meal with tasting in Villa Pianigiani. After the guided tour of the estate, which lasts about an hour and starts at either 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM, guests will complete the experience with a wine-paired lunch at the Ristoro of Villa Pianigiani.
The 3-course menu – appetizer, main course, dessert – is paired with a tasting itinerary that begins with the immediate pleasure of Pinot Noir "Il Chiuso" and continues with the vertical tasting of two important vintages of our most representative 'Chianti Classico Gran Selezione': "Castello di Ama San Lorenzo".

This exclusive experience represents the pinnacle of hospitality at Castello di Ama. After the guided tour of the estate, which lasts about an hour and starts at either 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM, guests will complete the experience with a wine-paired lunch at the Ristoro of Villa Pianigiani.
The 4-course menu – appetizer, main course, selection of Tuscan cheeses, dessert – accompanies the tasting which includes two vintages of "Castello di Ama San Lorenzo", our most important wine, and the historic grand cru "L' Apparita", whose first vintage dates back to 1985.

We have designed an experience that celebrates the discovery of our territory through guided tours and tastings, offering our Guests a complete journey through history, flavors, and culture. We believe that dining with us after exploring our spaces is the ideal way to fully immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere that Castello di Ama provides.
For our Friends seeking a more informal break, we are pleased to offer the opportunity to book lunch and dinner without necessarily participating in a tour or tasting. Our goal is to make the Ristoro a welcoming place, perfect for those looking to discover something new as well as those who already know and appreciate the simplicity and warmth of our cuisine.
